Schott Management Group, LLC (SMG) is a professional services firm established in 1989.  SMG provides a broad range of both general and individualized management services to corporate and non-profit organizations.  For 25 years, SMG has worked with and managed non-profit associations and 501(c)3 foundations.  Our work with the associations is broad-based and includes:

Continuing Education Accreditation

Since January 2006, SMG has served as an independent contractor to corporate clients in the ophthalmic industry to facilitate the application process, and the necessary follow-through required to obtain accreditation for continuing education credit for educational courses. We have experience with Optometry, Opticianry and Allied Health Personnel Accreditations.

 SMG has extensive experience in securing approval by accreditation organizations.  These agencies include:

·         State optometry medical boards

·         State licensing boards in opticianry

·         American Board of Opticianry (ABO)

·         National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE)

·         The Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO)

·         Canadian Provincial Agencies 

·         The Council on Optometric Practitioner Education (COPE)

You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) is President of Schott Management Group.  Tina has over 20 years experience in senior level association positions, and has held responsibility for every facet of association  development  and management.  As part of her formal education, she completed a three-year program in  Association Management  at the Institute for Organization Management at the University of Delaware.  She has  spent the majority of her  professional career in the allied health industry for non-profits, working with opticianry  and optometric interests.  She is  an active member of the American Society of Association Executives, the    Professional Convention Management  Association and the National Association for the Self-Employed.
